Type MFL3 Motor Flat Lead


  1. Solid uncoated copper conductor with
  2. Double layer of Kapton™ tape bonded to the conductor
  3. EPDM insulation bonded to the Kapton
  4. Lead Sheath
  5. Longitudinally applied, rubber backed, fabric bedding tape
  6. Monel Armor
Low profile Motor Flat Lead (MFL3) cables are rated 4 or 5 kV for operating temperatures up to 450ºF. They provide excellent performance in highly corrosive wells. These cables feature lead sheaths, which provide a superior barrier to the damaging effects of hydrogen sulfide.
